We have
AENA provisional statistics for the month of June, and as usual, are not too good. Suppose to soften a bit, this time the public body has given the data in the January-June period rather than over the previous month.
As León airport in June have passed through its facilities 12,028 passengers, representing a fall of 19.05% on June 2007. A bad story that, even so, it begins to reduce falls of 24 and 21% in April and May (the consoles is not because they want). As to charge this month, beating a record in the enclave of Leon 1798 kg, adding so far this year 8,020 kg. It should be noted that the recently questioned HUB route to Madrid-Barajas was again the second largest, with 4,513 passengers, representing 37.5% of those who passed through the Virgen del Camino this month. Our neighbors
Asturias passengers grew to 147,982, increasing 3.59% compared to June 2007, while in Valladolid Airport also accumulated loss of 43,564 passengers, down -7.56%. Speaking
and the period January-June 2008 at the Leon, there were 62 800 passengers (-16.67%) and 3162 operations (11%), all over 2007.
Overall throughout the network for the AENA far this year, builds up a timid 2.85% growth in passengers, 0.7% in operations and a 3% charge.
With these data in hand, we can already say with some confidence that the annual figures for 2008 (and I hope I'm wrong and are best) will be between 120,000 and 140,000 passengers. If the summer work out in my opinion, the figure could be around 135,000 passengers.
